Who operates Yardwins

Yardwins is operated by Scott McQuilkin, operating as Yardwins. For support, privacy questions, or deletion requests, contact scottmcq21@gmail.com.

This policy covers the Yardwins landscaper app and customer proposal experience.

Information used by the service

Account information includes your sign-in identity, name, email, company branding, referral information, business contact details, and quote settings. Job records can include selected customer contact details, property addresses and location, photos, prompts, generated designs, work descriptions, estimates, quote versions, customer feedback, signatures, agreements, and payment status.

You can also save yard captures before selecting a customer or creating a job or quote. Saved records contain the property address, selected photos, optional foreground GPS coordinates, and optional private notes. Saved captures are private to your account; photos you later use in a quote can become part of the customer proposal you choose to share.

If you report an AI-generated proposed image, we store a private content flag linked to your account, job, quote version, and the exact generated image, including its image reference and metadata and the submission time. Yardwins developers use reports to review generated content. Reports are not added to the customer proposal and do not change the quote or job.

We also process device notification tokens, app activity and diagnostic information needed to deliver updates, investigate failures, and protect the service. Authentication providers manage sign-in credentials; your password is not stored in Yardwins’s application database.

Device permissions and your choices

Camera and photo access let you provide yard photos and company logos. Foreground location helps identify the property you are saving or quoting; it is not background employee tracking. Contact selection helps fill in a customer’s details. Yardwins does not upload your entire address book or read your personal SMS/iMessage history.

You can decline or revoke device permissions in your phone settings. Manual customer and address entry remain available. Notifications are optional and can be controlled in Yardwins and device settings.

How information is used

We use information to authenticate accounts, save and retrieve yard captures for later quotes, prepare and revise visual proposals, calculate estimates, share customer-facing quotes, record customer decisions and agreements, reconcile booking payments, deliver activity notifications, review reported AI-generated content, provide support, and maintain security.

AI designs and estimates require landscaper review. Generated images are concepts, not a guarantee of the final result or a substitute for site inspection.

Service providers and recipients

Microsoft Azure hosts application data, photos, agreements, and operational diagnostics. Google/Firebase supports authentication. OpenAI processes submitted yard images and relevant instructions/context to generate and review designs and estimates. Saving yard captures alone does not send them to OpenAI. Stripe processes customer checkout and payment confirmation; Yardwins does not receive full card numbers. Expo and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging deliver Android notifications.

Push titles can include the customer’s name and may appear on the phone’s lock screen. Notification bodies do not contain the full proposal, signature, or payment details.

The customer and their landscaper receive the proposal and job information needed for their transaction. Customer-facing proposals exclude the landscaper’s internal cost breakdown and referral attribution. Anyone with a proposal link may be able to view that proposal; share links only with intended recipients.

Providers process information to supply their services. Processing may occur outside your state or country. We may disclose necessary records to comply with law or address fraud, security incidents, and disputes. Yardwins does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Sharing through your phone’s Messages app

When you share a quote, Yardwins opens your phone’s messaging composer with a customer number and proposal message. You review and send it yourself. Your phone/messaging provider handles delivery and ordinary replies; your personal sending number may be visible to the recipient. Carrier charges may apply.

Yardwins does not read or synchronize those conversations. Customer change requests made on the proposal page remain in Yardwins. A landscaper’s “I sent it” confirmation is not a carrier delivery receipt. Twilio and Telnyx messaging are not used by this release.

Retention and security

Active account, saved yard, and job data are retained to provide the service. We use access controls and encryption in transit and at rest, but no service is completely secure. Do not put passwords or full payment-card details in photos, prompts, or messages.

Saved yard records are retained with your account. You can remove unused captures from your library or request verified deletion of particular data or your account. Property records, private notes, and deletion records may remain after a capture is removed and are included in those verified deletion requests. Photos already used in a quote follow the job’s retention and deletion rules.

Private AI-content reports and their image references and metadata are retained for developer review. They are included in verified requests to delete particular data or your account, subject to the retention exceptions below. Submitting a report does not automatically remove an image or guarantee immediate review.

For deletion, we remove account-associated data after confirming the request, except records that must be retained for applicable legal obligations, payment disputes, fraud prevention, or security. Any necessary exception and its applicable retention period will be explained when we process the request. This page does not promise a blanket retention period for financial or signed records.

Copies saved or shared by customers, landscapers, or other recipients are not automatically removed from their devices when a Yardwins account is deleted.

Request account or data deletion

Request deletion of your Yardwins account and associated data. You can also contact scottmcq21@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. We may need to verify account ownership before making changes. Do not email your password, card number, or identity documents.

Requests are reviewed manually. Sending a request does not immediately delete your account or cancel an agreement with a landscaper.

Audience and changes

Yardwins is intended for adult landscaping professionals and their customers, not children. Contact us if a child’s information has been provided. Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date.
